Preparation Method

First of all add milk, bread, 1/2 cup sugar, eggs and vanilla essence to a mixer jar. Then grind well. It would turn to a liquid consistency. After this strain the mix so that you remove unwanted solids from it. Then keep it aside.

Next we shall prepare caramel. For this add the remaining sugar to a frying pan. Keep on sauteing till the sugar melts. It will take some time but be patient. Then when the sugar is nearly melted add Butter to it. Voila you have your caramel ready.

Now take a bowl which can be placed inside a pressure cooker. Make sure to use a bowl that can become a mould for a small cake. Coat the surface with butter so that it doesn’t stick. Now add melted caramel first and let it settle at bottom. Then add the ground mix above it and cover the bowl with an Aluminium foil.

Next take a pressure cooker and add 2 cups of water. Then place a ring first and then a perforated plate above it. It is done so that the bowl doesn't touch the cooker. Let it warm. Then place the prepared bowl (one covered with aluminium foil) above it and place a small plate on the bowl so that water doesn’t seep through (into the bowl). Now wait for 10–12 whistles.

After that take the bowl out and keep in fridge for 15–20 mins to cool. After the cooling process is done transfer the pudding to a bowl. There you have it the pudding is ready and you can eat this juicy, tasty and caramelised pudding to your hearts content.

If the non-vegetarians have their ever-so-versatile chicken, then vegetarians have for long taken pride in their most beloved  'paneer ' which can blend in any dry or gravy preparation. There are many health benefits in consuming paneer. I will list out a few.  It is rich in proteins and also strengthens bones and teeth.
