Welcome everybody to my third blog. Picking up where we left the story in my last blog I will say what she did that lead me to start my YouTube channel. I believe it was during a peaceful night. After dinner we were all watching TV and at that time she made a video imitating a YouTube channel she loves. The one part we all unanimously loved in that video was when she said " If you like this video then like, share and subscribe to my video!!!! "
Alas it was a "Bom Chicka Wah moment"
Everyone was mesmerized by that video. Well I can't explain why, it may seem trivial to everyone else. But to us it was an awesome moment. This was one of the reasons which influenced me to start my YouTube channel.
So now today let's see what recipe I am sharing with you all today. Today's winner is Chutney recipe of two types made from Coriander. For all the coriander lovers out there stay tuned.
Recipe no. 1 - Coriander Mint Chutney
This is a special chutney that we often eat with Tandoori in restaurants. Let's see how it's made
The ingredients are :
1) Coriander leaves - 1 cup
2) Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
3) Lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon
4) Yogurt/curd - 1/4 cup
5) Chat masala - 1/8 teaspoon
6) Sugar - 1/4 teaspoon
7) Salt - to taste
Add all ingredients except chat masala & yogurt to the mixer jar. Be careful while adding salt because chat masala also contains salt. Now grind it to paste. You can add little water while grinding to get consistency of chutney. After grinding to paste transfer the mix to a bowl and then add yogurt to the mix. Then mix it well and add chat masala. Chat masala gives an extra taste to the chutney. If you want then you can opt black salt instead of chat masala, but I am adding chat masala here because I prefer it.
So now the Coriander Mint chutney is ready now you can enjoy it with tandoori, chapathi etc. ( You can find your own combination).
Recipe No. 2 - Coriander chutney
This one is a simple chutney that I have seen mainly in North India. It is a spicy chutney that we can eat with rice and chapathi ( but other combinations can be explored by you).
The ingredients are :
1) Coriander leaves - 1 cup
2) Tomato - 1/2 nos.( see the size in video)
3) Ginger - 1/2 inch
4) Cumin seeds- 1/4 tablespoon
5) Green chilly - 1 nos.
6) Salt - to taste
Add all ingredients to mixer jar. Then grind to paste. You can add a little water if and when required. Then you have your simple and easy Coriander chutney ready. You can have it with anything you like and find your own combination.
The Coriander chutneys that I have shared today with you are all easy to make and simply delicious. Do try it and please your palate.
