Alright back to my YouTube journey. But today for a change I am gonna talk about Yippee and me. Well as I was brought up in India and like any other Indians I grew up eating Maggi noodles. And I still do. But I wanted to try a new dish - Yippee. You might think I am overexaggerating for a 5 minute noodles but for those who have lived alone will agree with me in recognizing the value of 5 minute noodles.
This recipe is an easy to make dish that can be made by anyone and if you taste it once you will love it and crave to eat more ( talking from my own experience). It's a tried and tested recipee arrived at with lots of test and trial. So lets dive into the ingredients used.
1) Yippee noodles - 1 block
2) Chopped onion - 1/2 nos.
3) Green chilly chopped - 1/2 nos.
4) Tomato chopped - 3/4 nos.
5) Turmeric powder - 1/8 teaspoon
6) Chilly powder - 1/8 teaspoon
7) Yippee masala - 1 packet
8) Salt - to taste
This is a delicious recipe that can be made easily by anyone. Lets see how to make.
Add 1 to 2 tablespoon oil to a pan and heat the pan. After the oil is warm then add chopped onion to it. Mix well and add green chilly to the pan. When the onion turns light brow add masalas(6,7) and salt. Saute well so that all masalas are absorbed by onion. Then add chopped tomato. Tomato gives the masala noodles tangy flavor and is in itself the defining flavour. Cook the tomato till its cooked, i.e. tomato shrinks, and add 1 cup of water to the mix.
After the water boils then add Yippee noodles and its masala. Then you have to do the usual. Cook till the noodles is cooked for 2 to 3 minutes. After the noodles is amply cooked eat it hot. I recommend eating the noodles with little water left so that you can drink the noodle water like soup....Do try this because it is a very good recipe that can be made easily for your family and yourself.
